For his second solo show at RARE, Brooklyn-based artist Bryan
Savitz presents a series of milky white sculptures created
through a complex process of disfiguration and reformation.
By co-mingling natural and artificial elements and recognizing
the virtue in an open-ended interplay of materials, he has
produced enigmatic relics that are both primordial and fantastical.

In his gallery debut, Boyd Holbrook exhibits a sculpture that
interprets the recent revolutionary revisions to the classic
story of deceitfulness and betrayal of Jesus Christ by Judas,
who is depicted as a flower-clad child gazing at his friend
taking a bubble bath.
